GAY BEARS

This gallery is for Mike. He's one of Universal Bear's regular visitors, "weekly," he says. And he e-mailed me last week wondering when I was going to be putting up a regular MANcheck gallery instead of a MANcheck Plus Gallery. He hasn't been getting his regular fix of gay bears.

For those of you wondering the same thing, let me explain the situation. I have, in the past, bought most of the content for this site from a couple of content brokers who carry all kinds of picture sets from twinks to gay bears and everything in between. However, lately, they have both been unreliable. One of them is moving in another direction altogether and isn't putting a lot of effort into their content house. The other, while they're still releasing loads of new photo sets, they're of the younger, Euro guy variety. They haven't released much new in the way hairy man, leather men, mature man content. They have promised me that they have some new stuff on the way.

About this time last year, I had started buying some semi-exclusive hairy man content from a photographer in the U.K. And I used it mainly to create premium galleries. His photo sets were about three to four times the price of what I was used to paying for a set at the content houses.

Lately though, with the shortage of hot gay bears from the content houses, I've been having to rely more and more on this photographer to keep the weekly updates going. And while I love his stuff - and the men - it's been expensive.

I understand it's frustrating for you Regular MANcheck members. Although Universal Bear is a labour of love, I have to cover my costs. At the end of the month you can cancel the Plus membership, your Regular membership will still be intact. This helps me defray the costs of the photos and gives you regular access to the premium content.
